Pleasant hotel, ideal base for exploring Ironbridge. Free parking and delicious breakfast with good ingredients. Late check out. Central location, just a short walk away from Ironbridge Gorge Museums.

The water rat has super clean and pleasing superior double rooms that met all our needs. It's a pleasant walk to the center to explore attractions. The staff were attentive and helpful, without exception. Their service really stood out. Having a fantastic range of well-prepared food just topped off our stay. A lovely experience overall!

We had an amazing two-night stay where the breakfast was out of this world, and our room was super cozy and clean with all the tea and biscuits we could want. The garden area was lovely for relaxing, and there were plenty of spots to unwind outside too. The only minor thing was the bathroom could use a little updating, but it didn't overshadow our great experience at all! 😊

Charming stay with excellent service
The room was spacious and clean. Staff were attentive and cute, especially during our dinner where the meal presentation was excellent. The dinner service was a bit slow at times, which could be improved.

The lovely and modern superior double room with a great view really was pretty good. The breakfast was fantastic, with freshly cooked options that set us up for the day.

The staff were excellent, always attentive and cheerful, which made our experience even better. it would have been nice to have more accessible seating options. It’s conveniently located for a lovely walk to the Iron Bridge.

I loved that we were just a short walk away from the fine Iron Bridge and the peaceful Museum of the Gorge, making our city strolls all the more enjoyable, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home while serving up delicious meals .

The room was so comfy n had a good sized bathroom, staff were really excellent too. Loved the food, the breakfast was amazin n dinner was good but coulda done with more menu options for the second night. The location is a nice walk to ironbridge, really picturesque n cozy.
We asked for a ground floor room but that got messed up, so we had 2 flights of stairs which was kinda annoying. The menu should change a bit to keep things interestin for longer stays.
